About Emily DiPalma, LMFT | Couples Therapist in Rhode Island & Massachusetts
I love working with couples who want to strengthen their relationship, as well as individuals navigating eating disorder recovery and body image concerns. I find real meaning and purpose in this work, and I show up fully, especially when you're feeling tired, frustrated, or ready to give up.
My approach is simple: We push through temporary discomfort now so you can experience long-term connection, healing, and peace.
Toward the end of therapy, couples often say that their house feels more like a home again, a weight has been lifted, and they don’t just love each other, they like each other again. Individual clients often share that they feel more grounded, less overwhelmed, and more connected to themselves and the people they love.
With specialized training in couples therapy, eating disorders, and Intuitive Eating Counseling, along with a background in clinical supervision and teaching, I bring both structure and warmth to therapy. I use evidence-based strategies to help clients safely navigate challenges and build more fulfilling relationships with themselves, their bodies, and the people they care about most.
If you’re ready to face the hard stuff, laugh a little along the way, and feel closer than ever, I’m here to walk alongside you.
“The quality of your life ultimately depends on the quality of your relationships.”
