COUPLES THERAPY · RHODE ISLAND & MASSACHUSETTS

Your relationship deserves more than just getting by.

Couples therapy designed to help you break painful patterns, reduce reactivity, and reconnect, not just manage conflict. Virtual across Rhode Island & Massachusetts.

Something isn’t working the way it used to.

Maybe conversations with your partner keep escalating or shutting down.

Maybe you’re trying to figure out how to care for your relationship when your partner isn’t ready to come to therapy.

Or maybe thoughts about food, body image, or exercise are taking up more space than you want them to.

HI, I'M EMILY. I'M HERE TO TELL YOU:

You don't have to keep repeating the same patterns.

Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, driven, and deeply caring, but still find themselves stuck in painful cycles in their relationships, disconnected from themselves, or exhausted by the pressure to keep everything together. From the outside, things may look fine. Underneath, though, you may feel overwhelmed, lonely, reactive, or unsure how things became this hard.

Therapy is a space to slow things down, better understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and start responding differently. Whether you’re navigating relationship challenges, disordered eating, body image concerns, or feeling emotionally stuck, I help clients move toward more connection, clarity, and steadiness in their daily lives.

Ready to Make a Change?

Here's how to get started:

1. Schedule an Initial 15 Minute Consultation

This brief phone call is a chance to share what’s been happening in your relationship, ask questions, and see if my approach feels like the right fit for you or your relationship.

2. Book Your Session

If we decide to move forward, we’ll schedule your initial session during the consultation. You’ll receive a confirmation email with clear next steps and everything you need to prepare for our first session.

3. The First Session

In the first session, we’ll identify the patterns driving current challenges, clarify your goals, and create a focused plan so therapy feels structured, efficient, and genuinely helpful from the start.

“Not only is Emily knowledgeable & resourceful, she is extremely warm, kind, & compassionate. I believe anyone who has the opportunity to work with her will benefit from the space she provides for honest discovery, change, & healing.“
